Injections

At RIverside Plastic Surgery, we offer a range of injectables, including Restylane, Juvederm, Botox, and Dysport, to enhance natural beauty and address signs of aging with a subtle and refined approach.

These injections work by targeting specific areas to smooth wrinkles, restore volume, and improve facial contours. Restylane and Juvederm are hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers that replenish lost volume and diminish the appearance of fine lines, while Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles.

Ideal candidates are individuals seeking to rejuvenate their appearance while maintaining their unique features, as our philosophy emphasizes enhancement rather than alteration. By focusing on a natural approach, we aim to slow the aging process and highlight your inherent beauty, ensuring that the results complement rather than change your facial characteristics.

Botox and filler injections can be suitable for a range of individuals looking to address various aesthetic concerns. Good candidates for Botox include individuals who have dynamic wrinkles, are in good overall health, have realistic expectations and are over the age of 18.  We recommend booking a consultation with Dr. Moister to make sure you're a candidate and do not have any contraindications.

During the appointment you and Dr. Moister will go over your concerns, goals and over all expectations to decide which injection is right for you. With a speciality in facial anatomy, our Surgeon will tailor each appointment and injection (botox or filler) to your specific needs. The whole appointment takes roughly 15-25 minutes depending on injection site and quantity.

There are alternatives to injections, such as non-invasive aesthetic treatment such as the Virtue RF Microneedling, or invasive procedures such as a Face Lift or Mini Face Lift.

You must be at least 18. However we do recommend waiting until you are at least in your mid to late 20's before receiving injections.

Both Botox and fillers can have side effects, although rare, that could include pain, swelling, and bruising at the injection site as well as possible headaches, droopy eyelids or crooked eyebrows, a crooked smile or drooling, watery or dry eyes.

Botox and Dysport can last anywhere from 3-6 months where as Filler injections are approximately 9-12 months.

While injections do cause mild discomfort and pinching sensation we offer topical numbing anesthetics that keep clients comfortable during their visit.

Botox and Dysport are generally used to treat dynamic wrinkles, while Fillers are used to treat static wrinkles.
