Injectables
At RIverside Plastic Surgery, we offer a wide range of injectables, including Restylane, Juvederm, Botox, and Dysport, to enhance natural beauty and address signs of aging with a subtle and refined approach.
These injections work by targeting specific areas to smooth wrinkles, restore volume, and improve facial contours. Restylane and Juvederm are hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers that replenish lost volume and diminish the appearance of fine lines, while Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles.
Ideal candidates are individuals seeking to rejuvenate their appearance while maintaining their unique features, as our philosophy emphasizes enhancement rather than alteration. By focusing on a natural approach, we aim to slow the aging process and highlight your inherent beauty, ensuring that the results complement rather than change your facial characteristics.

Botox and filler injections can be suitable for a range of individuals looking to address various aesthetic concerns. Good candidates for Botox include individuals who have dynamic wrinkles, are in good overall health, have realistic expectations and are over the age of 18. We recommend booking a consultation with Dr. Moister to make sure you are a candidate and do not have any contraindications.
During your consultation appointment Dr. Moister will review your concerns, goals and overall expectations to decide which treatment is right for you. With his extensive knowledge of facial anatomy, our surgeon is able to tailor each treatment to address your specific needs. A typical appointment lasts roughly 15-25 minutes depending on the injection site and quantity.
There are alternatives to injections, including non-invasive aesthetic treatments such as the Virtue RF Microneedling, as well as more invasive procedures such as a Face Lift or Mini Face Lift. We prioritize setting appropriate expectations for any treatment we offer, and may discuss other modalities or procedures if they are better suited to your goals.
You must be at least 18. However we do recommend waiting until you are at least in your mid to late 20's before receiving injections.
Both Botox and dermal fillers can have side effects. The most common side effects are minor and include pain, swelling, and/or bruising at the injection site. More serious side effects are very rare, and include headaches, drooping eyelids or eyebrows, a crooked smile, drooling, and watery or dry eyes.
Botox and Dysport typically last anywhere from 3-6 months. Dermal fillers last somewhat longer, approximately 9-12 months on average.
While injectables do cause mild discomfort and a pinching sensation, we offer topical anesthetics to keep our clients comfortable during their visit.
Neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport are generally used to treat dynamic wrinkles, which are caused by movement of the facial muscles. After treatment these wrinkles soften in appearance as muscle movement becomes less dramatic. Dermal fillers treat static wrinkles, which are caused by gravity and loss of elasticity. They serve to plump the skin and restore volume, lessening the appearance of signs of aging such as laugh lines, marionette lines, and prominent nasolabial folds. At your initial consultation Dr. Moister will help you determine the most appropriate treatments to address your specific concerns.
